Artificial Intelligence for Interactive Media (AINT204)
My second year AI coursework, created in Flash. “This module provides a general introduction to Artificial Intelligence concepts and its classical techniques and applications. It also explores recent research directions of Artificial Intelligence, such as neural networks and Artificial Life, and their implications fo Multimedia products.”
Flash Arrays for Matrices and Vectors
A demonstration of Flash Actionscript’s ability to handle arrays, a code structure which is heavily relied upon in AI.

AI Selection and Mutation
This piece of coursework involved the use of Macromedia Flash and Actionscript to produce a genetic algorithm that demonstrates the evolution of insect-like organisms through the processes of selection and mutation. There are 16 organisms in total and many genes behind the final phenotype, which will vary everything in size, shape and colouration. In addition to all of this, the insects actually move about in their environment.

AI Computer Player Game
This piece of coursework was to create an interface for a heavily Actionscript-orientated game (the AI structure of which was essentially already prepared but in a very incomplete form).
