Multimedia Technology (CNET113)
Module Aim:
“To give students an insight into the operation of computers, and the relationships between hardware, software, and networks. This insight should inform students as to the capabilities and necessary limitations of current and future technology.”
Coursework
Most of this module was exam based however there was a large spring term piece of coursework (worth 50%) to be conducted in groups of four. I worked with Robert Gregory, Tom Stembridge and Lloyd Randall for this piece.
The coursework involved excercises with installing both the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems from scratch and then configuring things such as file permissions and server technology.
Our collaborative work can be viewed here.
