I’ve taken a couple of photos of the sources of inspiration for my narrative, including Bored of the Rings:

Thinking ahead to the 4th year game’s module and the fact I heard that part of the module is writing an essay on a game, well here is my most likely answer:
Personally I think this is the best game concept ever, and its still great after ten years.

As a follower of the Half Life 2 series, naturally I have tried Portal and was kept amused by it for a little while, solving a series of puzzles with the portal gun set by a mad AI computer obsessed with cake.
However in my search for ideas for something I could make in Flash for my final year autumn term module Scripting for Digital Media (IDAT311) – (I am thinking I may as well get a long headstart on as much as I can now) – I found an amazing recreation of the portal game in a 2D Flash form. Because it is becoming a common occurence that I find a website that I find particularly inspirational, whether that be for its graphical design or a particular way of structuring what would normally be a very ordinary feature, and never really noting down the URL.
Now I could tag these sites using del.icio.us under something like ‘inspiration’ but I think I would rather also have more specific information or notes and possibly a screenshot to add some context.
So I shall be recording these websites on a page here.

I have been studying lately the art of creating ambigrams out of words and names with the purpose of using them within my logo design work. Here is one I created from the company name APCues:

After doing a number myself, I wondered if there was anywhere I could find examples of any two letters that have been mixed together. Instead I found an ‘ambigram generator’ here http://ambigram.matic.com/ambigram.htm, which is ok for getting a little bit of inspiration.
